Safety Officer
Job Description
A highly respected mining company based in Northern Cape is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join their dynamic team
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a safety officer within a Mining Environment.
Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) methodology.
In depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996), Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and other related legislation.
Knowledge of ISO standards i.e. ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Requirements:
National Senior Certificate.
Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management.
SAMTRAC or COMSOC 1 & 2 certificates.
Blasting ticket or valid trade test will be advantageous.
