2023/11/02 VACANCY SAFETY OFFICER LOCATION: LEPHALALE, LIMPOPO JOB TYPE: FIXED CONTRACT RESPONSIBILITIES -Maintain good housekeeping on all job sites. Assign specific housekeeping duties to each employee. -Ensure that pertinent safety inspections/reports are submitted as required. -Ensure that corrective action is taken whenever deficiencies are identified. -Conduct in-house safety training. -Keep up with current knowledge of safety literature, regulations and codes or practice. -Review accident reports to stay informed and up to date on safety issues. -Responsible for the daily administration of the Safety Program and post all Safety bulletins, Safety posters, Safety rules and regulations. -Conflict handling -Ability to work in a team. -Concern for meeting client requirements (Internal and external) -Relevant experience in a safety role in construction -Strong verbal and written communication skills REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS -2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a construction environment -Diploma in Safety Management (Samtrac, SHEQ Management) -Safety audit trained. -A valid driverxe2x80x99s license. -Computer literate -Attention to detail and documentation. -bility to work unsupervised and within a team environment.
