Job Description
NOW HIRING - Safety officer to coordinate and implement legal requirements and safety initiatives and Conduct and facilitate incident investigations.
Contract position - 12 months
Location - Kriel
Duties
- Provide specialist safety training and support, as per legislative requirements
- Chair relevant required SHE Rep meetings
- Facilitate HIRA Process
- Conduct inspections as per legislation
- Incident investigation process as per CSO instruction
- National Diploma: Safety Management (Essential/Minimum)
- Chamber Of Mines Safety Officer Certificate (COMSOC) 1 & 2
- Certificate First Line Management ( Essential/Minimum)
- B Tech (Relevant) ( Recommended/Desirable).
- 3-5 years relevant safety operations within a heavy industry/mining /production environment
