Job Summary
Job Title: Safety Officer (10month+ contract)
Location: Cape Winelands District, Ceres, Prince Alfred Hamlet
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: ZAR20000 - ZAR30000 Per month
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Health and Safety qualification (e.g, NEBOSH or equivalent) will be advantageous
- Fully registered with SACPCMP is a MUST
- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of risk assessment and management principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors on proper safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate accidents and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention
- Maintain safety records and documentation for audits and regulatory purposes
- Overtime will be required from time to time (weekends).
- Own reliable vehicle (to and from site)
