Safety Agent
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement project-specific safety plans
Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
Report on safety incidents and implement corrective measures
Provide safety training and toolbox talks
Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies
Maintain safety files and documentation
Requirements:
SACPCMP registration as a Safety Agent (Pr. CHSA) or Safety Officer
Minimum 3-5 years experience in health & safety on projects
Strong knowledge of OHSA and construction regulations
Ability to work independently on a freelance basis
Rates: Open for negotiation based on market rate and experience
