Safety Manager (SACPCMP Registered)
Western Cape | Building Construction Projects
A leading construction company is seeking a SACPCMP-registered Safety Manager to oversee Health & Safety compliance across multiple large-scale building projects.
Project Scope:
- Building contracts ranging from R60 million to R150 million in value.
- Current sites are located in Vredenberg, Tokai, Stellenbosch & Ceres and Durbanville
- Manage and coordinate Safety Officers across all sites.
- Ensure full compliance with SACPCMP and statutory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to site teams.
- Report on all safety matters to senior management.
- SACPCMP registration for at least 5+ years (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Safety Manager in building construction.
- Proven track record managing multiple sites and teams of Safety Officers.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations and HSE best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to multiple project sites across the Western Cape.
