SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a confident, relationship-driven SaaS Sales Executive to help expand their footprint in the investment industry. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that provides a powerful data platform designed to streamline and transform investment reporting and operations.
POSITION INFO:
In this role, you'll take ownership of developing new business relationships, understanding client data challenges, and guiding prospective clients through how the platform can support their operational goals. You'll work alongside a highly experienced implementation team of data engineers and analysts to deliver tailored solutions and close high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Data) at investment firms.
  • Build trust and rapport quickly through effective discovery and consultative selling.
  • Understand client pain points around data and reporting, and map these to platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to design and present customized solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of long-lead enterprise opportunities as well as shorter sales cycles.
  • Maintain and grow your sales pipeline using a structured sales process and CRM tools.
  • Ensure seamless handover to implementation by clearly communicating client requirements and expectations.
  • Provide strategic feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and sales opportunities.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5-8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within financial services or data-focused industries.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling to senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling approach, with excellent listening and discovery skills.
  • Comfortable discussing technical products and data concepts (technical background not required).
  • Ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and client organizations.
  • Familiarity with tools driven by Excel or APIs is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience or a strong network in the investment or asset management sector.
