Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Performing preventative maintenance to achieve optimal plant availability by reducing downtime and breakdowns.
Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 (STD 10) N3
An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
A valid driver’s License.
A minimum of 5 years mining experience
Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 and other relevant Legislations.

Job Objectives
Undertake job assessments.
Determine material requirements.
Validate availability of tools & materials before commencing.
Validate that job requisitions are signed off and handed back.
Record keeping of maintenance schedules.
Provide support to Tradesman Aid.
