Information about the role

Purpose

The purpose of this role to deliver air content for Flight Centre Brand and website, whilst driving TTV and ticket numbers of preferred carriers in conjunction with the commercial and marketing teams. The role will focus on delivery of air product through campaigns, tacticals, and each countries websites.

Duties

• This role will primarily deliver on the FCB Product Strategy that supports brands campaigns, tactical campaigns and website traffic
• Key responsibilities include sourcing, qualifying, and delivering complete product requirements through efficiency, productivity and accuracy, ensuring FCB product remains best in market
• Build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders
• Provide product for FCB retail brands based on the FCB Product Strategy. This process includes working with key internal stakeholders such as marketing and commercial in planning and selecting product
• Create, deliver and maintain brand-aligned products for FCB to advertise in a variety of marketing channels
• Work closely with the Product Delivery FCB Team and Marketing to drive engagement of campaigns, tactical sales and social opportunities
• Ensure there are always on airfares available that are specifically hot for top destinations
• Manufacture airfares like Round the Worlds and Multi stops
• Identifying margin opportunities within air across wholesale, cruise, private, youth/student, F&B - communicate to pricing and commercial
• Promote airfare content internally so that consultants are aware of the latest offers and are able to demonstrate airfare expertise
• Ensure FCTG remains best in market and compliant through selecting and loading, tactical air, both as stand alone and bundled products
• Source airfares to reach the mass market and other markets as required

Qualification & Experience

• Matric
• Air Pricing and Fares Knowledge
• Minimum 3 years in travel experience working with air fares
• Strong Amadeus and Air knowledge & understanding
• Helio and Resman knowledge an advantage
• Excel knowledge required
