RPA & Integration Lead



Role Summary:



We're looking for someone who just gets it -- someone who can take ownership of the systems we use every day and make them work smarter, harder, and more cohesively through automation, integration, and AI.

As our

RPA & Lead Engineer

, you'll be responsible for driving internal efficiency and unlocking new value for both our team and our customers. You'll lead the development of our Rewst platform, support the transition to new systems like our PSA and customer portal, and create intelligent workflows that bridge our operational, network, access control, and cloud environments.

This is a key role for someone who understands how to get disparate systems talking to each other, how to eliminate manual tasks, and how to embed AI meaningfully into IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Rewst Development & Ownership



Lead the architecture and delivery of automation workflows using Rewst Identify and automate repetitive internal and customer-facing processes Maintain structured, well-documented automation pipelines and change control

Systems Transition & Portal Development



Support the migration from our current PSA platform to a modern alternative Assist with the development and rollout of a customer portal experience Ensure continuity, minimal disruption, and stakeholder alignment throughout migrations

API Integration & Scripting



Build and maintain API-based integrations across systems including networking, access control, customer portals, cloud services, and security tooling Create scripts, lightweight applications, and dashboards to improve workflow visibility and control Maintain scalable, reusable integration patterns that align with business objectives

MSP DevOps Engineering



Deliver tooling and automations to improve service provisioning, device deployment, onboarding/offboarding, and monitoring Help standardise our technical operations and reduce reliance on manual intervention Participate in infrastructure-as-code and automation projects for internal use

AI & Intelligent Workflow Development



Design and implement AI agent workflows where appropriate, using available APIs and large language models Research opportunities to embed AI into service delivery, ticket handling, or customer interaction Collaborate on internal experimentation and prototyping with a view to productionising successful ideas

Skills & Experience Required:



Experience working in or closely with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Rewst preferred) Scripting and API integration skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, REST) Solid understanding of IT operations and common MSP toolsets (e.g. PSA, RMM, M365, network and access control platforms) Experience supporting technical system migrations and platform consolidations Comfortable mapping out processes and translating them into automated workflows

Desirable (Not Essential):



Experience with AI agents, workflow builders, or prompt engineering Familiarity with automation in areas such as Microsoft 365 security, identity, endpoint management, or networking Interest in leveraging AI/ML to augment IT operations or customer service delivery
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R50000,00 - R61000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
