Routing & Scheduling Manager - JhbFull job descriptionPaysAfrique du SudLieuSouth AfricaLieu de travailJOHANNESBURG-BIERMANN AV(ZAF)Socixc3xa9txc3xa9 employeurTotalEnergies Marketing South Africa (Pty) LtdDomaineOpxc3xa9rations ExploitationType de contratCDIExpxc3xa9rienceMinimum 6 ansProfil du candidatThe following candidate should possess the following: Transport Degree/Diploma, or any Supply Chain, Production Management, or Business Degree / Diploma.Sound experience of transportation requirements for dangerous good.Ability to translate KPI's and trends into Business activities.Good understanding of HSEQ principles for the transportation of Dangerous goods.Good understanding of transportation contracts.People management and consequence management experience.Systems and MS packages experience.Activitxc3xa9sThe following candidate will be responsible for the following:Routing and Scheduling activity:To manage & control the effective scheduling of the outsourced transport fleet (Secondary, Primary & Mining lSPs), ensuring optimization of transport resources while adhering to agreed delivery SLA's and complying with the Patrom, HSSEQ Policy and the relevant legislation.To monitor, set targets & implement preventive and corrective measures to meet SLA's and improve continuously the service level.To ensure the management of the compliance of transport contractors with TSA Polices and standards, which includes the following:xc3xbc Route Risks Assessments;xc3xbc Delivery Sites Risk Assessments;xc3xbc Transport Operations Task Observations;xc3xbc Responding to Incidents from customers / Transporters if necessary;xc3xbc Incident Investigations e.g. road accidents, contaminations and spills;xc3xbc Customer Visits - to discuss Transport Operations Issues e.g. Site Project Reviews with Retail;xc3xbc Visit to Transporter Depots - Meetings and Audits;xc3xbc Depot Visits - Operations Review Meetings, New Contracts Implementation, Loading Operations Task Observations, Risk Assessments and any other matters concerning transport operations.To manage good housekeeping of the Routing and Scheduling System ensuring up-to date Master Data, effective reporting & trend analysis.To recommend areas of improvement for the consideration by different stakeholders (Transport / Supply / Logistics / Marketing / HSEQ) to enhance productivity & efficiency of the transport operation and/or Supply Chain.To identify and suggest potential cost reductions to enhance overall profitability of the company.To support HSEQ compliance to the Company's HSEQ standards, any local by-laws and government legislation so as to minimize all risk pertaining to the company's assets and stock, be an excellent corporate citizen, remain operational and ensure the safety of all people.To allocate non-contracted Primary deliveries in-line with Cost reduction and Enterprise Development Strategy.To optimize the use of the Supply Points Gantries, ensuring TSA uses its allocated amount of Slots.To represent TEMSA in the Gantry Optimization workgroup at Natref, make recommendations and follow up on agreed actions.
