Responsibilities:

Job Overview:

Organises the availability of vehicles, drivers, routes and products to meet the specified delivery schedules.Organised distribution incl. products, people, vehicles, routes and customers. Optimised people utilization. Audited routes and updated routes and customer information. Debrief Drivers when they return from route. Assist Drivers with resolving issues they may encounter on route or with customers. Liaise with the recons team on the drivers' books. Daily Route Planning. Use daily volume requirement to prepare the daily delivery plan. Plan the best routes and ensure minimal impact on customers. Plan customer special delivery requirements. Agree delivery schedule revisions with customer. Daily Vehicle Monitoring. Monitor delivery progress. Report delivery delays per procedure. Report incidents on route that may impact on deliveries. Communicate delays or plan deviations that may impact on the customer timeously. Keep the customer up to date on the progress of their delivery where delays have occurred.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years' experience within a similar role. Matric.
