Live-Out Role - Own transport preferred, candidates must already reside in Cape Town About the Position We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Room Divisions Manager to oversee the effective running of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments at a prominent 4-star city hotel in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, smooth daily operations, and efficient coordination across the hotel. Key Responsibilities Front Office Management : Oversee reception, reservations, and guest services, ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and guest relations. Housekeeping Oversight : Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation across rooms and public spaces. Guest Experience : Ensure guests receive consistent, warm, and professional service at all times. Staff Leadership : Lead, mentor, and schedule FOH and Housekeeping teams, fostering a culture of accountability and guest-centric service. Operational Efficiency : Manage departmental budgets, stock controls, and operational systems, driving cost-effective solutions. Reporting & Administration : Handle daily reports, occupancy updates, and incident logs. Compliance & Standards : Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, as well as company SOPs. Problem-Solving : Handle guest queries and operational challenges calmly and effectively. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar Rooms Division / leadership role within a 4* or 5* hotel. Strong knowledge of Front Office systems (Opera or similar PMS preferred). Excellent leadership, staff management, and training experience. Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and guest-relations skills with a calm, professional manner. Financial acumen - ability to manage departmental budgets and cost controls. Must be Cape Town-based with reliable transport (Live-out role). Relevant hospitality qualification preferred.
