Job Description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Conduct vehicle inspections
  • Issue notices of violation in terms of C-BRTA legislations
  • Conduct Cross-Border Law Enforcement Investigations
  • Provide management information and production reports
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
(Knowledge/Systems/Regulations)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Cross Border Road Transport Act
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including, amongst others Criminal Procedures Act, National Land Transport Act, Dangerous Goods Legislation, Tourism Act

Formal Qualifications:
  • Three-year National Diploma (NQF level 6) qualification in Traffic Management or Road Transport Management or related discipline.
Experience:
  • Minimum of Three (3) years relevant experience in Law Enforcement
