Job Description

The digital age is bringing rapid change. Businesses are becoming increasingly interconnected and borders around supply and value chains are becoming increasingly blurred. At PwC, we recognise the importance of technology risk management services as a key enabler in organisations. You'll work closely with Information Technology, the business, and the audit and risk functions to align business processes and risk to the business environment through identifying risks and recommending mitigation controls. We offer a three-year contract, on-site training and valuable work experience. We're looking for talented, skilled graduates who can bring new ideas and a fresh approach to risk services.

Digital Trust: SAP

(offered in Cape Town, Johannesburg)



At PwC, we see IT risk services as a powerful driver of innovation and resilience in today's digital world. Our team of digital trust professionals works at the intersection of technology and business, helping organisations manage risk and unlock value through SAP. As a graduate, you'll be part of a dynamic environment where technology meets strategy, and where your ideas and curiosity can make a real impact.



Our graduate programme offers you the chance to work with a wide range of clients, industries and cutting-edge technologies. You'll collaborate with senior professionals such as financial controllers, IT leaders and finance directors, gaining exposure to real business challenges from day one. Your work will span exciting areas like SAP risk and control reviews, IT security, system implementation assessments, governance and compliance, audits and data analytics. Digital Trust: IT Audit

(offered in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban)



IT Audit offers an exciting opportunity for graduates to explore the evolving world of audit through the lens of technology. This role provides exposure to all aspects of the audit process, giving you a strong understanding of how technology is integrated and controlled within businesses. You'll work with a variety of clients across industries, engaging with professionals such as financial controllers, IT managers and risk officers to evaluate and test IT systems and controls. Your work will involve using advanced analytics, automation and innovative tools to deliver technology-enabled audits. You'll identify key risks, assess internal controls and contribute to projects involving cybersecurity, data analytics, ERP systems like Oracle and regulatory compliance. Whether it's performing system reviews, assessing data migration controls or supporting governance and risk audits, IT Audit equips you with the skills and experience to thrive in a tech-driven audit environment.




Digital Trust: Data

(offered in Cape Town and Johannesburg)



Joining the Data and Analytics team offers graduates a unique chance to work at the forefront of data-driven decision making. You'll help clients unlock the power of big and complex data sets to drive growth, improve efficiency and manage risk. As businesses increasingly rely on data to innovate and make strategic decisions, you'll play a key role in transforming raw information into actionable insights using cutting-edge tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Python and SQL. This role also provides a clear career path for those interested in combining data expertise with auditing, as you'll support audit teams by analysing and testing data to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. You'll gain a blend of commercial, technical, financial and analytical experience while working with iconic clients across industries and geographies. Through structured training and hands-on projects, you'll develop a broad skill set in data analysis, visualisation, financial modelling and stakeholder communication, interacting directly with senior leaders such as CFOs and CEOs. This is a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you'll solve real business problems and grow alongside experts in big data, predictive analytics, machine learning and more.




Internal audit (GRIA)

(offered in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein)



By joining this programme, you'll gain functional and industry insights, get to work with large multinational companies and help clients enhance their internal audit function. If you've always dreamed of working for a large multinational in risk assurance, then PwC is the place for you! In your role as part of our team, you will be exposed to industry and business leaders; CAEs, CFOs and CEOs; various business processes; and the latest methods of internal audit.




Forensics

(offered in Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein)



Managing risks, whether fraud, corruption, regulatory or economic and financial crime-related, requires a thorough, professional and independent approach. PwC provides a broad range of specialist forensic services and as a trainee you will gain exposure to the world of forensics through formal and practical on-the-job training, further developing your skill set in corporate intelligence investigations, forensic technology services, anti-money laundering, fraud risk consulting, expert accounting, dispute resolution, and risk and regulatory compliance management.





Requirements
Completing or completed one of the following disciplines:


BBus Sci (Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Info Technology) Internal Auditing or Risk management BCom Information Systems Applied Mathematics or Statistics Econometrics or Economics Data Analytics Forensic Accounting or LLB Management Accounting Industrial or Chemical Engineering

Must be willing to pursue an honours degree in one of the above disciplines.



Academic average of 65%
