Risk Consultant
Job Description
Asist in the implementation of the monitoring plan
Perform firm level reviews
Communicate with directors and process owners
Identify deficiencies in the firm's system of quality management, evaluating such deficiencies and communicating identified deficiencies to relevant personnel
Write review reports to be presented to directors and the Quality Risk Management Committee (QRMC)
Present reports and answer any questions at QRMC
Assist with the development and facilitating of training on deficiencies
Perform ad-hoc reviews / investigations requested from exco / QRMC
Build strong relationships with internal clients and QRMC members.
Execute risk-related initiatives and ensure local alignment of global risk and quality policies.
Assist with back office functions on the firm's engagement management system.
Assist with the opening, archiving and recording of engagement and project management files
Monthly reporting on archiving and usage to MANCO.

Experience/ Skills
2years + years in risk management, audit, or risk consulting within professional services. Detail oriented - methodical, and quality-focused Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities Analytical mindset - proficient in data analysis, trend monitoring, and reporting. Organised and capable of managing deadlines and multiple reviews Client service mindset and stakeholder engagement abilities. Leadership capabilities - mentorship, training facilitation, and team guidance. Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements, compliance, and audit standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CIMA) are strongly preferred.
