Minimum Requirements
Be a South African citizen
BCom Accounting Degree completed
High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
Effective communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Duties and Responsibilities
Audit Support:
Assist the audit team in conducting audits of retirement fund operations.
Ensure compliance with auditing standards, policies, and procedures.
Gather and analyse financial data, records, reports, and statements for audit purposes.
Data Management:
Maintain and update financial databases with relevant audit findings.
Help integrate best practices into the audit programs to improve efficiency.
Ensure timely completion and secure storage of audit files.
Compliance and Controls:
Follow internal procedures to ensure effective internal audit controls.
Assist in recommending and implementing controls for improved management of retirement funds.
Identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks and report them to senior team members.
Team Support:
Collaborate with the audit team to ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
Provide assistance and guidance to other team members as needed.
Continuously develop your knowledge and skills through formal internal training and on-the-job learning.
