Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and confident when dealing with customers
Well-presented and professional appearance
Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
Ability to work alone and independently
Basic numeracy and computer skills for operating the cash register and POS system
Attention to detail with good organisational skills
Flexibility to work on a Saturday when required

DUTIES
Provide product information, advice and recommendations to customers
Handle customer complaints or queries in a professional and helpful manner
Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
Replenish shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed
Assist with receiving, unpacking and pricing new stock
Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies
Maintain visual merchandising standards and promotional displays
Keep the store clean, tidy and well-organized at all times
Open and close the store
Handle cash, card and electronic payments responsibly
Follow store security procedures and loss prevention guidelines
Support external sales reps with administrative tasks
Participate in staff meetings, training and product knowledge sessions.
