About the Role
We're looking for an energetic and motivated Long-Term Insurance Sales Consultant with a solid background in long- or short-term insurance sales. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving new business, building meaningful client relationships, and helping customers choose the right cover for their needs.
Being proficient in English and isiZulu is essential, while additional languages such as Afrikaans, Xhosa, or Sepedi will be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal networks and online platforms
Promote our client's products to self-generated leads and leads provided by the marketing team
Build and maintain lasting client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and referrals
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, excellent customer service, and an enhanced customer experience
Requirements
Must-haves:
Matric certificate
Minimum of 2 years' sales experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong CRM skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite
Self-motivated team player with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proactive, adaptable, and deadline-driven mindset * Completed/Completing FSCA-recognised qualification in line with DOFA
Nice-to-haves:
RE5 Certificate * Experience with telephonic or cold calling sales
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the long- or short-term insurance sector
Multilingual (English and isiZulu essential; additional languages highly advantageous)
