Requirements:
Matric
Tertiary Qualification would be preferable
MUST be well presented
Sales experience in a luxury goods retail environment would be advantageous
Must identify with gold as a product and be passionate and knowledgeable about this commodity
Strong sales record
Must be comfortable selling high value products. If they are not comfortable dealing in R1000's with Invoices that can be up to R1M, they will not succeed. Dealing with mid to rich people and being comfortable in doing so is very important
able to understand basic economic and trade indicators/concepts
Personable - able to build new relationships quickly and easy as well as build depth of relationships
Proven record in relationship selling capability
Proven track record in finding new business and/or building a strong network of high-net-worth individuals
Must be able to work retail hours - which includes weekends
Must have a proven record in showing initiative
High energy and go-getter personalities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Working in a team, formulate sales plans and execute on them within a high energy and positive work environment
Seek out new business on a consistent basis using all the sales prospecting tools available to salespeople
Meet interesting and high-end clients leading to personal growth and improved networks
Close deals from medium to very high value
Continually improve your knowledge about trade, the economy, business and business sectors as you work
