Location:Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers as they enter the store
Provide product information and recommendations to customers
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions
Requirements:
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
A passed Matric Certificate or NQF Level 4 equivalent
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for sales
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise when required
Knowledge of retail software and point-of-sale systems is an advantage
