Operations Manager
from amajor retail environment
(e.g., Pick n Pay, Checkers, Spar, Boxer, Shoprite, etc.) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience instore/branch operations, merchandising execution, sales support, and distribution oversight
.Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operational functions across multiple outlets/regions
Lead merchandising standards and ensure optimal product display and availability
Coordinate distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery
Ensure compliance with operational policies, cost controls, and best practices
Lead, mentor, and manage operational teams
Requirements:
5+ years' experience in retail operations
(supermarket / FMCG / distribution environment essential)Proven experience in
merchandising, sales operations, and distribution management
Strong leadership and people management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
