People Management:
Clearly and concisely communicate business and business objectives to managers so that they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets.
Achieves exceptional customer service levels through the development and training of store staff.
Develops an effective network of communication across the business to ensure shared knowledge and understanding of business activity
Recruits accurately profiled store staff and ensures the full implementation of induction programmes for new store managers
Effectively manages the performance and development of store managers to drive and maximise the sales performance throughout the business
Manage any employee relations issues which may arise within the business, including the counselling, discipline and grievance processes
Plans for succession in the business through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth
Creates a positive environment that results in employee retention and a reduction of staff turnover.
Profitability:
Effectively manages the P&L within allocated budget in order to affect a profitable performance for each store.
Manages payroll budgets in line with business budgetary parameters
Store Presentation:
Liaises with the Buying and Merchandising teams regarding the supply of stock in the business to maximise stock potential
Collates and provides constructive feedback on fast and slow-selling stock items
Ensures that the visual presentation of all stores represents the brand image as per the directives received
Supports the delivery of all promotional campaigns
Stock Control & Security:
Ensures that all stores adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, company policies and procedures.
Achieves stock control targets in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss.
Stocktake preparation, management & analysis for each store on a cycle.
Expert level understanding of our point-of-sale system.
Customer Service:
Supports the management of customer service activities and staff competence so as to optimise and sustain sales performance and customer satisfaction.
