Job Title: Retail Head

Supervising: Key Account Retail Customers, Stockists, Sales Executives, Merchandisers Job Summary
The Retail Head will drive sales and distribution through key modern trade, pharmacy accounts, and stockists. The role focuses on achieving monthly sales targets, ensuring effective merchandising, managing stock levels, and leading a team of merchandisers and sales staff to maximize market presence. Roles & Responsibilities
Sales & Key Account Management
Achieve monthly sales targets across assigned geographies and accounts
Cover all outlet categories and ensure optimal market presence
Conduct sales calls and visits to monitor performance and improve merchandising standards
Manage third-party agencies and align them on promotions and product launches
Collaborate with marketing on account-level strategies and monthly plans
Deliver business reviews and presentations to management
Handle customer complaints and ensure service standards (credit, collections, etc.)
Stockist & Inventory Management
Conduct physical stock checks and monitor inventory levels
Review interim sales and align stockists with monthly targets
Ensure timely receipt and distribution of stock
Administration & Reporting
Prepare monthly reports, statements, and forecasts
Submit claims and vendor documentation on time
Maintain customer portals, product masters, and account files
Coordinate with support staff for sales bookings and dispatches
Submit expenses and handle all administrative requirements for accounts
Team Leadership & Development
Train, mentor, and develop merchandisers and direct reports
Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans Education
Bachelor's degree preferred Experience
4 5 years in sales, retail, or distribution management Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals and retail operations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Team leadership and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to drive performance, achieve targets, and manage multiple stakeholders
