Ensuring proper stock levels in the grocery store (ordering, receiving, and managing inventory).
Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization across the station and store.
Implementing and monitoring company policies and procedures.
Managing cash flow, banking, and reconciliation of daily sales.
Monitoring fuel and grocery sales performance and reporting to head office/owner.
Controlling expenses, reducing shrinkage, and preventing theft or loss.
Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
Ensuring staff provide good customer service and adhere to safety protocols.
Motivating and maintaining a productive workforce.
Ensuring a high standard of customer service at pumps and in the store.
Handling customer complaints or escalations professionally.
Running promotions and loyalty programs where applicable
Qualifications
Grade 12
Criteria
At least 5 years of experience in a management role within the retail sector
Retail grocery experience essential
