We are looking for a candidate who is suitably qualified and also an african black candidate.
Join the retail team with the aim of achieving sales and business targets, including client acquisition, by promoting the firm's retail funds to South African 3rd party distributors and various other business development channels.
JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• You will be required to assist a team of sales managers to sell funds by providing technical information on South African and global markets, positioning the core funds, competitor analysis & opportunities in the marketplace;
• You will be required to respond to a wide array of client enquiries, from operations to investments;
• You will be required to perform quantitative analysis on our client's fund's vs competitor funds
• You will be required to compile analytical packs for client report backs;
• You will be required to assist in developing marketing content on our funds for the team;
• You will be required to compile & interpret trends from monthly sales and management reports (net flows, AUM, industry statistics);
• You will be required to facilitate client pitches, report-backs and due diligences with portfolio managers / investment specialists as required.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• You have a B.Com or B.Bus Sc ideally;
• You are a CFA or part - this would be a distinct advantage;
• You have a minimum of 2 - 4 years current, relevant industry related experience and retail or institutional experience is ideal;
• You have knowledge of financial markets and instruments;
• You have experience in portfolio construction - this would be a distinct advantage;
• You have the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and support business delivery through sound compliance advice. You are smart, well presented; confident and looking to use your skills to the best possible ends and grow your career! Superb team of winners!
