Job Summary Looking for a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Shop Assistant. Our space features a curated selection of local brands and artisans, offering customers a unique and community-focused shopping experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the business as we continue to expand. Five days per week | 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM Key Responsibilities: * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. * Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product information across our range of local brands. * Support stock management, including receiving, stock taking, and replenishment. * Accurately manage the POS, inventory entries, and payment processing. * Assist with social media and marketing activities to promote in-store brands and events. * Manage daily store operations and ensure the space runs smoothly throughout the day. Ideal Candidate: * Honest, punctual, and dependable. * Friendly, professional, and customer-focused with strong communication skills. * Shows initiative and takes ownership of the role, ensuring tasks are completed without constant supervision. * A working smartphone is essential, and having your own laptop is an advantage. * Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. * Passionate about supporting local businesses and eager to grow within a creative retail environment.
