AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY EXISTS WITHIN OUR MAITLAND BRANCH IN THE WESTERN CAPE FOR A RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER
Overview
A vacancy exists within Eagle Lighting for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to assist in the overall day-to-day operations of the Retail stores
The vacancy requires a person who:
- Is detail orientated and possesses a high degree of accuracy
- Efficient time management skills
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Excel/ Word) and Outlook
- Understanding of FMCG environment, 3-5 years Management experience in retail/ sales (lighting experience essential)
- Possess a valid driver's license, own vehicle and be willing to travel
- Must be self-motivated and possess ability to work unsupervised
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for
- drive sales, ensure high retail standards and customer service levels and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting on operational requirements in the retail store
- Assisting with stock management/ purchasing and general duties
- Researching and keeping up to date with lighting trends, technology and standards
Requirements
(please note that all are essential):
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification preferred
- New business development experience
- Customer service experience

Market related, based on experience
