Salary: R18,000 - R25,000 DOE Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a luxury, family-friendly restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch. This vibrant venue also includes an event space, offering a dynamic role combining daily restaurant management with occasional function coordination. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader who can run restaurant operations seamlessly while maintaining exceptional service standards and guest experiences. ? Requirements: * Previous management experience in a restaurant or luxury dining environment * Strong wine knowledge, ideally within Stellenbosch or similar wine regions * Excellent administrative and organisational skills * Experience managing a small team of 4-6 waiters * Strong leadership with the ability to uphold high service standards * Comfortable overseeing both restaurant service and venue/event coordination * Hands-on, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences * Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required ?? Key Responsibilities: * Manage daily restaurant operations with consistency and professionalism * Maintain high levels of service, guest satisfaction and overall dining experience * Oversee and support a small front-of-house team * Conduct wine service, provide recommendations, and uphold cellar standards * Handle administrative duties, including rostering, stock control, cash-ups and reporting * Coordinate with the venue team for events and functions * Ensure smooth and efficient breakfast, lunch and limited dinner services ?
