Job Description
Role: Restaurant supervisor
Salary: TBC
Location: Hermanus, Western Cape
As the supervisor, it will be your responsibility to continue to build on the foundation that the owners have set.
Requirements:
- Manage daily activities of employees.
- Supervise employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, and plating.
- Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory.
- Analyse profit and loss statements and recommend improvements to meet department goals.
- Schedule and assign work for associates on a daily basis.
- Provide training to staff on company policies.
- Respond to queries and complaints from both customers and employees.
- Ensure employees follow company policies and store rules.
- Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under-stock problems.
- Ensure that the facility is maintained neat, clean, and safe.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience managing a restaurant, kitchen or similar.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
