Our Restaurant situated in East London is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage the Restaurant and Staff and to ensure Guest satisfaction at all times. Main duties include but not limited to:

• Ensure effective staff planning to provide the exceptional service delivery
• Ensure correct set-up, according to required standards.
• Ensure stipulated food cycle & quality / taste / presentation as per standard
• Ensure all standard procedure are in place xe2x80x93 opening / closing paperwork are implemented daily / staff requirements met (uniform, tools, prep,etc.)
• Induct all staff.
• Train and Develop staff.
• Conduct progressive discipline.
• Ensure budgets are achieved and maintained.
• Ensure cash procedures implemented correctly and maintained as per policy & procedure
• Ensure accurate salary administration and a clear understanding of relevant calculations
• Ensure all administrative aspects/ tasks of the business are accurately performed
• Enforce F&B controls through correct stock take and requisition procedures and actively follow up variances.
• Ensure that customer complaints are handled timeously and effectively with the aim of recovering the customerxe2x80x99s loyalty xe2x80x93 as per company policy & procedure
• Actively build relationships and communicate daily with all Guest and Associates
• Maintain & monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards in all departments
• Maintain and monitor the proper use and storage of all company assets (equipment, furniture, telephones, accessories, etc)
• Introduce and maintain a cleaning procedure for all company assets
• Maintain the Health and Safety procedures of the Hotel

• Relevant Diploma and/or 1 to 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience
