We are seeking an experienced, guest-focused
Restaurant Manager
to lead our dinner service restaurant and ensure seamless operations throughout all dining touchpoints at the property.
The Role
This hands-on leadership role is perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic hotel-and-restaurant environment. You'll lead from the front, inspire your team, and ensure every guest interaction reflects the warmth, quality, and contemporary style of Noah.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring a high-performance, service-driven culture.
Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, performance management, and ongoing staff development.
Train and onboard new employees to maintain consistent Charles Hope service standards.
Guest Experience
Be visible on the floor, engaging with guests and anticipating their needs.
Ensure that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service--whether restaurant diners or hotel guests.
Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently, aiming for complete satisfaction.
Build rapport with regular and VIP guests to support personalised service.
Operational Excellence
Oversee all front-of-house operations for the restaurant and bar to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service.
Ensure compliance with hotel standards as well as all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and hotel departments to align service delivery and guest experience.
Uphold the look, feel, and standards of all dining areas in line with the Charles Hope/Noah brand.
Financial & Administrative Control
Perform cash-ups, process payments when required.
Monitor daily sales, report discrepancies, and support revenue targets.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximise profitability.
Manage stock levels, ordering processes, and supplier relationships.
Events & Collaboration
Coordinate private dinners, special events, and group bookings, ensuring smooth and professional execution.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote restaurant and hotel dining offerings.
Maintain strong communication between the front-of-house, kitchen, and hotel leadership teams.
Participate in management and strategy meetings to support continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
8-10 years' experience in a restaurant or outlet management role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment or upscale restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in POS
Bizzfo and Dineplan
.
Good financial understanding, including cash-ups, reporting, and cost control.
Ability to perform under pressure and maintain high standards during peak periods.
Knowledge of relevant food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for both hotel and restaurant guests
