Restaurant & Bar Manager | Luxury Hotel Group | Cape Town
Salary: R35,000
Location: Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Manager for a prestigious luxury hotel group located in Cape Town. This role requires a passionate hospitality professional with exceptional leadership and service skills to oversee and elevate the food and beverage experience for discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the restaurant and bar to ensure seamless and high-quality service
Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Ensure all food and beverage offerings are aligned with the hotel's brand standards
Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring personalized service and guest satisfaction
Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock control of food, beverages, and equipment
Ensure all hygiene and health & safety protocols are adhered to
Drive revenue and profitability through strategic promotions and upselling techniques
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to coordinate service delivery
Maintain accurate reporting on sales, expenses, and operational performance
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar management role within a luxury hospitality environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, service standards, and cost control
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in restaurant and bar software systems is an advantage
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
