Job Summary This amazing luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the winelands offers personalized service and a unique guest experience. Aimed primarily at the local food lovers, customers are looking for a sophisticated, well-polished and presented FIRST POINT OF CONTACT / Assistant Guest Services Officer / HOSTESS / Reservations & Admin Officer to organise, welcome and host guests, attend to daily bookings, special requests & requirements and liaise closely with both kitchen & front of house teams to ensure guests ultimate culinary & service experience. REQUIREMENTS: Proven HOTEL experience as a Concierge, Receptionist, Front of House Host Understanding of all HOTEL systems, restaurant operations, accommodation services Hands-on / working experience with HOTEL Management software (PMS) OPERA, iKentoo etc Proficiency in English; knowledge of other FOREIGN languages is a HUGE advantage Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate others into high performance Ability to work flexible / odd hours Strong sense of responsibility and a professional highly attractive presentation National Diploma in HOTEL or Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field an advantage
