Salary: R50k p/m CTC
Description: The Resource Mobilisation Manager is responsible for developing, cultivating, accelerating, and managing relationships with high-potential individual donors, foundations, and corporates for this well known NPO Foundation.
He or she will manage and grow a portfolio of partners that will enable the Foundation to sustain the work and grow the impact. The core aspects will be overseeing the full donor relation cycle through the development and implementation of the Foundation's fundraising and resource mobilisation strategies.
The Resource Mobilisation Manager should be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a history of securing large funds, have knowledge of fundraising best practices and the philanthropic landscape across multiple markets, and have existing networks and contacts with potential individual donors, foundations, family offices, and corporates.

Donor Relations
xe2x9cx93 Develop and implement the organisation's fundraising and resource mobilisation strategy.
xe2x9cx93 Develop prospect engagement strategies and proposals for pipeline development.
xe2x9cx93 Manage and grow a portfolio of large donor partnerships - including multi-year partnerships.
xe2x9cx93 Raise philanthropic funds in support of the Foundation's strategic initiatives and reach set targets.
xe2x9cx93 Support partner entities with writing winning fundraising proposals and grant applications.
xe2x9cx93 Design and implement innovative fundraising and resource mobilisation strategies and plans.
xe2x9cx93 Develop, implement, and coordinate fundraising events and activities in line with the fundraising plans.
xe2x9cx93 Participate in relevant industry bodies and associations to facilitate fundraising and stewardship for the work of the Foundation.
xe2x9cx93 Develop thorough knowledge of the Foundation's work to develop and implement donor relations strategies.
xe2x9cx93 Manage the Foundation's donor relationships including lapsed donors.
xe2x9cx93 Have direct engagements with donors and assist the CEO and COO in their donor engagements.
xe2x9cx93 Proactively drive production of quality donor correspondence and stewardship reporting
xe2x9cx93 Ensure production of relevant marketing collateral for donor engagement and fundraising activities.
xe2x9cx93 Nurture relationships with donors to strengthen their commitment to the Foundation.
xe2x9cx93 Coordinate reporting in line with donor expectations and requirements.

Administration
Education, Skills and Experience
xe2x9cx93 Work closely with all teams to maintain fundraising database integrity and perform routine prospect data clean-up.
xe2x9cx93 Collaborate with the COO as needed for the generation of briefings, profiles, and other donor materials.
xe2x9cx93 Track and report on fundraising activities and progress.
xe2x9cx93 Collaborate with the partner entities to maintain and update prospects lists, donor issues alerts, and funding landscape trends to inform strategies.
xe2x9cx93 Develop thorough knowledge of Foundation's and partner entities' needs to provide proactive, efficient, and expedient resources and support.
xe2x9cx93 Coordinate internal fundraising committee.

Requirements:
xe2x9cx93 Relevant post Matric qualification
xe2x9cx93 Honours or a Master's degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
xe2x9cx93 Excellent selling skills - negotiating, influencing.
xe2x9cx93 Excellent engagement and relationship-building skills.
xe2x9cx93 Funding and grant proposals at various levels.
xe2x9cx93 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
xe2x9cx93 Cost analysis and budget management.
xe2x9cx93 English fluency - reading comprehension, oral and written communication and expression.
xe2x9cx93 Five years' fundraising or sales experience - with a track record of obtaining and renewing R1m+ partnerships.
xe2x9cx93 Strong relationship-building skills.
xe2x9cx93 Experience in the non-profit, social entrepreneurship and impact investing fields.
xe2x9cx93 Experience in grant and report writing.
xe2x9cx93 Experience in managing multiple donor and stakeholder relations.
xe2x9cx93 Experience managing communication and/or fundraising campaigns, including familiarity with social media platforms and digital fundraising platforms.
xe2x9cx93 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
