Blue Rock Waterski Resort is looking for a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Resort Lifesaver & General Worker. If you are a strong swimmer, passionate about safety, and don't mind rolling up your sleeves for hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
This is a unique, dual-role position:
As a Resort Lifesaver:
you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests in and around the water, monitoring swimmers and activities, and responding effectively in emergencies.As a General Worker:
during quieter times, you will assist with general maintenance, cleaning, and operational support to keep the resort running smoothly.Education and Other Requirements:
Must live in the Helderberg Area Valid Lifesaving certification (open water/resort lifesaving experience an advantage). Physically fit, with strong swimming ability and quick emergency response skills. Responsible, reliable, and safety conscious. Willing to assist with general tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and basic support work. Team player with a positive attitude. Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak season shifts (Dec and January).
