Resident Engineer - Technical Director (Pr Eng / Pr Tech)
We are recruiting a Resident Engineer / Technical Director (Pr Eng or Pr Tech) to lead and deliver civil engineering solutions on complex industrial, mining, petrochemical and energy infrastructure projects.
Key Requirements
- BSc/BEng, MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering
- Professionally registered Pr Eng or Pr Tech
- 15+ years' relevant experience
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Bulk earthworks and civil earthworks
- Stormwater and run-off design
- Sewer and potable water systems
- Proven experience working with industrial clients (mining, manufacturing, Oil & Gas)
- Demonstrated leadership as a design leader, senior designer and/or engineering manager
- Experience leading and managing technical teams
- AutoCAD
- Civil 3D
- MS Project
- Act as Resident Engineer and technical authority on complex industrial civil projects
- Lead and manage civil engineering teams within multidisciplinary project environments
- Deliver high-quality civil designs using sound engineering judgment
- Provide innovative, practical solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Apply expertise in stormwater, earthworks, sewer and potable water design
- Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Project for design and delivery
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Take accountability for technical quality and financial performance of the Industrial Civils team
- Commit to continuous professional development
- Published technical papers or recognised subject-matter expertise
- Business development experience
