to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for water and sanitation the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards, while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily site activities and construction progress.
Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and standards.
Review contractor work, materials, and quality control processes.
Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and client representatives.
Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
Monitor health, safety, and environmental performance on site.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Registered as a
Professional Engineer/Technologist
with ECSA (or eligible).
Minimum of
5 years
relevant experience post qualification.
Proven experience in water & sanitation construction supervision.
Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to be based on site full-time.
