Join the team at one of the Cape Winelands' most prestigious estates as Reservations Manager, responsible for leading a small and dynamic team in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience from first enquiry through to final confirmation.
The ideal candidate will combine operational knowledge with a hands-on leadership style, overseeing all booking channels and communications. You will be responsible for inventory management, VIP handling, system oversight (Protel Air), and guest interaction, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, efficiency, and service.
Key responsibilities include managing incoming reservations across all platforms, coaching the reservations team, maintaining rate integrity, and working closely with the Lodge Sales Manager and various department heads. Reporting, data integrity, and system accuracy are essential, alongside maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
Minimum Grade 12 with a hospitality or tourism qualification;
At least 3 years' experience as a Reservations Manager in a 5-star or luxury property;
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills;
Excellent knowledge of hotel systems (Protel Air preferred);
Understanding of revenue management principles;
High attention to detail, guest-focused, and capable of working under pressure;
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
