Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy xe2x80x93 Reservations Manager Hospitality Company xe2x80x93 Cape Town Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target. Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate
• 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a management position or 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a senior position at a reputable operator.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of travel management processes.
• Experience at operator level of a Property Management Systems (Opera)
• Outstanding telephone manner and excellent command of the English language in verbal and written skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• A basic understanding of Geography of the Delta.
• Certification in travel or hospitality may be advantageous.
• Exposure to Opera and various distribution systems advantageous
• Knowledge on other Southern Africa safari destinations advantageous

• Liaising with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions.
• Liaising with travel agents, the revenue manager and the rooms division manager
• Assisting the sales team in setting their rates
• Maintaining the in-house reservations systems
• Forecasting revenue streams
• Responsible for various Production reports and supply to each department concerned.
• Managing your team effectively
• Ensure special handling of repeats guest and VIP guest.
• Supervising of Group Reservations
• Having knowledge of entire Reservation Procedure according to International Hotel system
• Excellent sales and customer skills xe2x80x93 able to develop and maintain relationships with clients and increase corporate business.

• R40 000 xe2x80x93 Negotiable based on experience.
