Handles all incoming calls for accommodation, respond to all enquiries in a timely manner Resolves issues with guest in best possible way, bearing in mind the interest of the hotel and the guest Maintain up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all times Sell our products and services to meet guests needs in line with our concepts, with a focus on hotel profit Follow up on no-shows, commissions and loyalty programs Builds and maintains strong working relationships with entire hotel focusing on Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Sales and/or Meeting & Events and F&B.

Qualifications

In order to be successful, the candidate needs to possess:

At least 1-2 years Reservations experience in a 4/5 star hotel Excellent communication skills Computer literacy is essential, with experience in using PMS - EMMa Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as accept a flexible work schedule when necessary The ability to use own initiative and work in a pressurised environment Excellent team player skills Fluency in English, both written and oral Excellent telephone manner and a clear voice * High levels of motivation, enthusiasm and be innovative
