We are seeking reliable, professional, and friendly venue hosts to assist in the smooth running of marketing research sessions, focus groups, and interviews held at our dedicated research facility in Century City. This is a casual role, with work offered based on project needs - ideal for students, freelancers, or those looking for flexible, part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare venue and equipment prior to sessions (Zoom, audio/video recorders, catering setup).
Contact research participants to confirm attendance and assist with directions.
Welcome participants and clients, ensuring a warm and professional reception.
Manage session logistics and sign-in sheets, keeping everything on schedule.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and service providers regarding session logistics.
Maintain a clean and professional boardroom environment; serve catering as required.
Assist with downloading and forwarding session recordings (training provided).
Work closely with the venue manager to ensure high standards of service.
Who We're Looking For
Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Tech-confident - able to use Zoom, email, and basic file sharing tools.
Organised and detail-oriented; able to follow structured procedures.
Proactive, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
Comfortable interacting with diverse people in a client-facing environment.
Available for flexible shifts, including evenings and occasional weekends.
Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (NQF Level 4) or currently pursuing tertiary education.
Experience in hospitality, customer service, admin, or events (advantageous but not required).
Strong verbal and written communication in English.
Additional spoken languages are beneficial when communicating with a diverse audience.
Presentable and punctual with a reliable work ethic.
Computer literate; familiar with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
Professional phone manner.

Additional Info
This is a casual, project-based role with no guaranteed hours. However, successful team members are frequently offered repeat bookings. Applicants based within 20km of Century City with reliable transport are preferred for logistical reasons.
