Job Description

The main purpose of the position is to assist the Study Manager in the recruit of participants and to provide a supportive role in research study-related tasks. The role participates in the design, administration and monitoring of implementation research studies. Responsible for the efficient collection of accurate, complete and ethical data from study volunteers. Adherence to protocol and overall study objectives.


Technical Work Responsibilities




Recruitment, counselling and retention of volunteers. Data collection. Administrative duties. Report writing. Strategy recommendations based on process evaluation findings.


Education




Bachelor's Degree or similar. Valid GCP certificate.

Advantageous


Honours Degree. GCP training. HIV/TB training. Research and GCP an advantage. Knowledge of participant recruitment and retention strategies.

Experience




Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role. Public Sector experience in HIV counselling and testing, prevention, care and treatment. Experience in HIV/TB prevention and treatment. Experience in community education. Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Requirements




Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Computer and programming skills. Valid Driver's License and own vehicle.
