Job Description
A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant for a six (6) month contract
Qualifications and Experience:
- An LLB, Admitted Attorney, with 1 - 2 years post articles experience and exposure in a legal environment.
- Honours degree in Economics.
- A master's degree or applicants studying towards a Master's Degree will be advantageous.
- Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in the area of research, competition law or economics.
- Knowledge and understanding of the purpose and objectives of the Competition Act, the Competition Commission and the South African economy is highly recommended.
- Training and experience in Industrial Organization and/or International Trade is considered to be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills are essential.
- Assist with post inquiry work
- conduct research, analysis of information and data provided, and prepare inputs for the finalization of the MDPMI report
- Provide economic analysis where necessary.
