Job Description
A well-established business is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant for a six (6) month contract
Qualifications and Experience:
An LLB, Admitted Attorney, with 1 - 2 years post articles experience and exposure in a legal environment. Honours degree in Economics. A master's degree or applicants studying towards a Master's Degree will be advantageous. Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in the area of research, competition law or economics. Knowledge and understanding of the purpose and objectives of the Competition Act, the Competition Commission and the South African economy is highly recommended. Training and experience in Industrial Organization and/or International Trade is considered to be advantageous. Strong analytical skills are essential. Assist with post inquiry work conduct research, analysis of information and data provided, and prepare inputs for the finalization of the MDPMI report Provide economic analysis where necessary.
