Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect compliance and operational monitoring results from quality control and operational laboratories. Analyse collected results of jar tests and identify non-compliance to required standards. Maintain database for all jar tests results. Implement new methods for research purposes Investigate any water quality concerns identified in the different regions Assist with planning experiential work to investigate new products and technology for potable and wastewater treatment with accurate interpretation. Capture and maintain data on electronic water quality management database. Compile an annual program for filter evaluation. Monitor disinfection efficiency at the plant and the reticulation system. Conduct plant inspections as per pre-determined specifications. Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. Observe all Health and Safety protocols and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Sc Honours Chemistry/B.Tech Chemical Engineering/Analytical Chemistry/ Water Care. 2 years' experience as a Research Technician. Competent in MS Office. Report writing skills. * Valid Drivers' License.
