Job Summary Job Summary A Research and Development (R&D) Engineer is a professional involved in the creation, innovation, and improvement of products, processes, or technologies within an organization. Their primary focus is on conducting research, designing experiments, and developing new products or solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Research Product Development Experimentation and Testing Collaboration Problem-solving Documentation and Reporting Technology Evaluation Continuous Improvement Design and Development Patent commercialization Requirements xe2x80xa2 B Eng / BSc / B Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering. xe2x80xa2 CAD: Inventor and or SolidWorks (Advanced - FEA and modelling). xe2x80xa2 PR Eng. / PR Tech would be advantageous. xe2x80xa2 Experience of Mechanical Design in a production environment. xe2x80xa2 Proficiency in office products such as Teams, Excel, and Word. xe2x80xa2 +3 years' experience in a similar role. xe2x80xa2 Ability to provide training and give presentations. xe2x80xa2 Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. xe2x80xa2 Attention to detail. xe2x80xa2 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. xe2x80xa2 Ability to travel between sites within designated. Physical requirements xe2x80xa2 Temperature of the work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. xe2x80xa2 Ability to walk frequently, climb ladders and stairs. xe2x80xa2 Ability to lift heavy materials.
