To develop new products or technologies that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Required outputs: functional
- Formulating new products based on project requirements.
- Development of existing and new applications.
- Improving existing formulations to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, or sustainability.
- Applications and technology platform research.
- Conducting feasibility studies and proof-of-concept tests.
- Sourcing and evaluating new raw materials for quality and performance.
- Collecting, interpreting, and documenting experimental data.
- Writing technical reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshooting process-related issues in manufacturing.
- Engagement in field trials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric/Grade 12
- National Diploma (Chemistry), BSC (Chemistry) or BTech (Chemistry).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Research & Development of new products.
- Experience in the development of green products from renewable resources.
- Experience in surface chemistry applications.
- Experience and interaction with customers.
- Presentation skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel).
