Duties:

• Create board packs, monthly management accounts and reports.
• Conduct budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Implement improvements to the way we report and improve efficiency
• Keep abreast of changes in IFRS, financial regulations and legislation
• Assist with year-end process and auditor queries
• Liaise with relevant parties regarding results and variance analysis

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Undergraduate degree in (Accounting/Finance)
• CA (SA) is a must

Experience:

• 3-5 relevant experience in manufacturing, media or entertainment industry
• Knowledge of Hyperion financial management and syspro knowledge is desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel) is a must

Skills & Competencies:

• Financial analysis and data interpretation skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Well-organised administration and process discipline
• Knowledge of internal controls
• Exposure to financial practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills
