As part of your responsibilities, you will play a key role in creating budgets, developing rolling forecasts, and assisting in their submission to the group through the utilization of HFM.

Duties:

• Prepare and submit various monthly management reports, forecasts and annual budgets
• Provide effective and value-added in-depth support.
• Ensure reporting is in line with International Financial Reporting Standards and group policies.
• Financial reporting in their area of function
• Liaise with relevant parties regarding results and variance analysis
• Implement improvements to the way we report and improve efficiency
• Produce board packs, monthly management accounts and reports
• Respond to group and management queries.
• Assist with year-end process and auditor queries
• Produce budgets and rolling forecasts

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Accounting Honours
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• 3 years completed SAICA articles.
• Experience in manufacturing, media, or entertainment industry
• Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Syspro knowledge (advantageous)

• Strong technical accounting skills.

• Internal controls knowledge.
• Trained in Finance best practice.
